A useful distinction between coaching and counseling is that counseling tends to be past-based. Coaching focuses more on the future we’re creating.


Counseling is useful for individuals or couples interested in healing wounds of the past. Coaching is useful when you’ve acknowledged your past, but now you want to know what to do with it.


Counseling is effective to better understand your feelings around events. Coaching is effective to put strategies in place to create your ideal future.


As your coach, I’ll use your relevant history to identify triggers, but we’ll amplify how you want that history to serve you. When we reach an understanding that everything is happening FOR us (not TO us) we reach a more empowered state to take inspired action.

COUPLES COACHING

The love relationship and business growth are deeply connected. They can either fuel one another or fail one another. If you feel like you’re leaning more towards failing one another, coaching may be a great option for you. Or, perhaps they’re fueling one another at the moment, but there’s some big life transitions coming up that could potentially derail you as a couple. Coaching may also be a great option for you.


On these confidential calls, we’ll work on issues that are most challenging to your relationship. Some of the most common challenges my couples face are:

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Because I have been on both sides of the entrepreneurial equation (once as the more ambitious partner, and then as the too accommodating partner) I deeply relate to both parties. I use this experience to support each of you separately, as individuals. It takes two happy, healthy people to create one happy, healthy relationship. This approach allows both of you to drill down on the issues most relevant to you, ensuring both parties get equal air time.


Occasionally, if there’s a big concept I would like to introduce, we’ll do couples calls to ensure shared context. Additionally, if you request a couples call to help reach consensus on a difficult issue, those are available on-demand.


These calls happen once a week, every week. So, as a couple, both of you are talking to me individually once a week.


Agreements are renewed on a quarterly basis so you can continue as long as you’d like after our initial quarter together. Some couples simply need one quarter to resolve an issue. Others enjoy the maintenance of regular calls for personal, professional, or relational hygiene.

These calls happen once a week every week at a standing but flexible time. You will have a personal dashboard that tracks your growth across 12 key areas. We’ll identify patterns and blindspots. This helps identify pitfalls in advance, avoiding the insanity loop and fast-tracking growth.


This is an annual commitment, with the option to pay quarterly.
